This website does not provide public user accounts or take payments. Its mailing-list form is currently disabled and does not send information to MailerLite. The website does not ask you to provide health information. Please do not send personal medical information through the website.

Hosting and website security

When you visit the website, its hosting and security systems may process technical information such as your IP address, browser and device type, requested pages and files, referring page, date and time, and security or error-log information.

This information is used to deliver the website, keep it secure, prevent abuse and diagnose faults. The lawful basis is the legitimate interest in operating a secure and reliable public-information website.

The website uses WordPress and is hosted by TenWeb. TenWeb and its infrastructure providers process technical information as service providers. Technical records are kept only for as long as reasonably necessary to operate and protect the website, investigate faults or security incidents, and meet legal obligations. See TenWeb’s Data Processing Agreement.

Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics 4, measurement ID G-XLSB0RC9NN, only to produce statistical information about how the website is used and to improve it. Google Analytics may receive information such as pages viewed, referring website, approximate location, browser and device type, and the date and time of a visit.

Limited analytics is on when a page loads unless you object. For storage and access on your device, the website relies on the statistical purposes exception in the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations. For any related personal-data processing, the lawful basis is the legitimate interest in understanding and improving this free public-information service. Advertising storage, Google Signals, advertising personalisation and optional Google modelling or business-recommendation data sharing are disabled. We do not send the choices or score from the 4AT calculator to Google Analytics.

Google Analytics uses first-party cookies named _ga and _ga_* to distinguish visits. This website limits those cookies to 90 days. Google Analytics user-level and event-level information is kept for no more than 14 months. Aggregate reports may be retained for longer.

You can object free of charge and turn analytics off at any time using Analytics settings in the website footer. Turning analytics off removes this website’s Google Analytics cookies and stops further Google Analytics collection from your browser after the page reloads. Your objection does not affect processing already carried out. See Google’s privacy policy.

4AT calculator

The 4AT calculator runs in your browser on this website. Your selected answers and calculated score are not submitted to the website, stored by the calculator or sent to another service. If you use the Export button, the report is created and downloaded by your browser.

YouTube videos

YouTube videos are not loaded automatically. A connection to YouTube is made only if you choose to load a video. YouTube or Google may then receive technical information about your browser, device, IP address and the page being viewed, and may use cookies or similar storage. If you are signed in to Google, the interaction may also be associated with your account. See Google’s privacy policy.

Cookies and similar storage

Name Purpose Duration
fourat_analytics_consent Necessary preference cookie that remembers whether you kept analytics on or turned it off. 90 days
_ga and _ga_* Limited statistical Google Analytics cookies. You can turn them off using Analytics settings. Up to 90 days

YouTube may use cookies or similar storage after you choose to load a video. Google determines their names and duration. External websites reached through links have their own privacy and cookie practices.

Sharing and international processing

Technical information may be processed by TenWeb and its hosting providers, by Google Analytics while analytics is on, and by YouTube only after you choose to load a video. Some processing may take place outside the United Kingdom. Where required, transfers are covered by an adequacy arrangement or contractual data-protection safeguards.

We do not sell personal information.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to access, correct, erase or restrict the use of your personal information, receive a portable copy, and object to its use. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time.

To exercise a right or make a privacy complaint, use the contact details above. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office or telephone 0303 123 1113.

This website does not use personal information to make automated decisions about visitors.
